**Pediatrician Opening - Troy, AL** ~ Montgomery, AL 55m; Columbus, GA 85m ~ MD/DO ~ Salary Range: $240K+/- (open for negotiation) **Perm or Locums-Perm Available** *Loan repayment of 50K for 3 years (150K total) awarded to physicians in rural practice provided through the state of Alabama* **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Part Time also available (1-2 days in office, But available to collaborate with NPs and be available to them by phone any time. Group would put the doctor in a hotel for the 2 days and cover any gas mileage to and from their home to the hotel) - Outpatient only - Employed - Private practice - Flexible Schedule Options: Monday-Friday 8a-5p or 4 ten (10) hour shifts per week. Must work over 32 hours/week to maintain full-time status - APP support - Rotating Saturdays from 8a-12p is *possible in the future* as the group has found that adding Saturday hours is a WONDERFUL service to the community and would like to gradually do that. - Position is outpatient only, but should have courtesy privileges at local hospital at Regional Medical Center. - Call: After-hours telephone calls will be transferred to Childrens of Alabama PHIL line for triage who will take care of the majority of calls. However, clinic providers will rotate weeks to be available to nurse triage line for calls requiring advice from practitioner (is very infrequent). - Patients per day: Minimum averaging 20 patients per day - Recruiting one Pediatrician and two Nurse Practitioners. Each provider will have their own MA. Two receptionists. Relocation up to $10k*** **Ideal Candidate** - Team Player with positive attitude that provides exceptional patient care to children, organized, fun and friendly, comfortable collaborating with NP, flexible, good communicator, able to close charts within 96 hours at most. **About the Group** - Practice plans to open in early 2023. - Owner of the practice has been established for more than 10 years and owns 5 pediatric offices in North Alabama. - If candidate is available to work prior to practice opening for operation, we would ask candidate to work four days per week as a Locums at one of the other clinics. This will allow the new physician to train and begin to establish a routine that can carry over to the new office in Troy once opened.
