Ongoing
Need Pediatrician to cover call, 24 hour/shift, up to 10-20 shifts per month; attend C-sections to care for infant and round on assigned patients; round on normal vaginal delivery newborns, but not required to attend those deliveries unless problem is anticipated; admit pediatric patients (0 - 5/mo).
Hospital has 30-35 deliveries per month.
Level 1 Nursery.
Provider must be able to stabilize and prepare infants for transfer out to higher level of care, if necessary; current PALS and NRP certification required and must be maintained; must be able to perform circumcisions, no exceptions.
Patients per shift: 0-3
Minimum Board Certification:BC
