Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke Lifepoint hospital in Galax, Virginia (60min from Winston-Salem and 90min form Roanoke), is growing with the addition of a full-time BC/BE Pediatrician to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.

Position Detail:
  • Employment: Physician Group Employed Position (hospital employed)
  • Expectations: In office care consist of 20-25 patients per day, 40-50 new patients a month, shared call. Traditional model including outpatient clinic, newborn nursery, minimal inpatient and delivery care
  • Current Practice Structure: Physicians, APPs, clerical staff, LPNs, Lactation Consultant, Office Manager
  • Schedule: Standard office house with flexible day options to extend hours for 4-5 days per week. Call 10 days minimum with one weekend
  • Location: Office located less than 1ml from hospital. Service area includes Galax and surrounding counties
  • Equipment and Services: In office lab for rapid test and CBCs, Lactation Consulting
  • Accolades and Accreditations: Rural Health Clinic

Lifepoint Health:
  • J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty
