Pediatrician needed in Herkimer, New York

  • Located in the Foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains
  • 65 miles from Syracuse; 80 miles from Albany, NY
Position Details: Full-time, permanent Outpatient pediatrics at the clinic in Herkimer, NY. Office hours are 8 AM 5 PM Monday through Friday. Four 10-hour day work week option is available After hours call 1:6 weeknights/weekends for back up coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital. The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365 along with a daytime hospitalist. The on-call pediatrician provides support in Cooperstown on evenings and weekends Medical student instruction with academic appointment to the clinical faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Group Employed Model Additional professional opportunities Option to participate in our award-winning School-based Health Program Support from the Research Institute for those interested in pursuing research projects Professional support Integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record Excellent subspecialty access, including convenient e-consults Health System: Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes six corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.
