Flexible Weekend Pediatric Urology Coverage in Illinois
We have an ongoing locums Urology assignment in Illinois helping an underserved community. This high-priority need is for weekend coverage, offering an ideal work-life balance.
Highlights
- Provide meaningful coverage for an underserved community
- Ideal flexible schedule: Weekends only
- Ongoing, stable assignment
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Full hospital support staff
- Low call volume (approx. 1 per night)
Schedule
- Consistent weekend coverage (Fri-Sun)
- Approx. 9 days needed per month
- In-house call with 15-minute response time
- Potential for weekday clinic coverage to support PTO
Procedures and Cases
- Focus on general inpatient Pediatric Urology
- Clinic volume: 18-22 patients per day
- Collaboration with Pediatric Surgery as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (Urology)
- Active Illinois state license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience
Credentialing Requirements
- Credentialing process takes approx. 60 days
- Case log submission will be required
