A hospital in Maine is looking to hire another full-time pediatric surgeon to complete a hospital-employed 2-physician practice with a strong regional referral base. The pediatric surgical service averages more than 300 operative cases per year including the full spectrum of index conditions and acute pediatric surgical problems. The practice has significant support from the adult trauma surgical service and pediatric hospitalists, as well as a physician extender. They offer flexible schedules and an exceptional work-life balance. There are leadership and teaching opportunities, if desired.
