Seeking an experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Surgeon to support a community health system caring for patients from newborns to teens.
✅ Requirements
- 🎓 Board Certified Pediatric Surgery
- ❤️ BLS & PALS certifications
- 📍 Virginia license
📋 Responsibilities
- 🩺 Manage inpatient rounding for your patients
- 🔍 Weekend surgical consults as needed
- ⏱️ Fast response expectations:
- 15-min call back
- 30-min on-site response
✨ Highlights
- 🏥 Clinic: Mon–Fri (8 AM – 5 PM)
- 🌙 Night call: Mon–Fri (8 PM – 8 AM)
- 📅 Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
- 🚑 Mostly ED consults (0–2 calls/day)
- 👶 Low volume: 0–4 patients/day
- ⚕️ ~8–10 emergent surgeries/year
