        • July 21–28

        • August 28 @ 6 PM – September 2 @ 6 AM

      • Practice Setting: Inpatient only

      • Schedule:

        • 12-hour scheduled clinical shifts

        • 1 scheduled clinical day

        • On-call: Beeper call for both assigned and unassigned patients

        • Call starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 7:00 AM (24-hr beeper)

        • Weekend call: Yes (Saturday & Sunday)

      • Call Stats:

        • Call Response Time: 15 minutes

        • Call Ratio / Callback %: 15%

        • Avg. phone consults: 5/day

        • Avg. patients seen: 5/day

        • Avg. admissions: 2/day

      • Admissions: Yes

      • Rounding: Unassigned patients only

Qualifications

Board Status: Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery

Fellowship: Required

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Neonatal surgery

Laparoscopic surgery (including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen)

GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy)

Pediatric-specific procedures (e.g., diaphragmatic hernia, imperforate anus, omphalocele, PDA ligation, etc.)
