- Other Details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. The facility is seeking a provider with an active Pennsylvania license, board certified, and fellowship trained, available to start for the dates July 21–28 and August 28 at 6 PM through September 2 at 6 AM. Trauma experience is required and ECMO experience is a plus. This is an inpatient role at a Level 1 Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Surgery facility. Providers must be certified in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. The schedule includes one 12-hour shift in clinic/hospital and weekend call from Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM, with a 15-minute response time required. Call is for unassigned patients only, with an average of 5 phone consults, 5 patients seen, and 2 admissions during call. When not on call, the provider averages 2 admissions per shift. The facility has 135 beds, is stroke certified, and requires rounding for unassigned patients.

Job Responsibilities
- Participate in weekend and overnight call coverage
- Respond to trauma and pediatric surgery cases
- Admit and manage unassigned patients
- Conduct phone consults and respond within 15 minutes during call
- Perform rounding for unassigned patients
Qualifications
- Board Certified
- Fellowship required
- Certified in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
- Pediatric surgery experience required
- Trauma experience required
- ECMO experience is a plus
- Must not be IMLC (compact license)
Working Hours
- August 28 at 6:00 PM through September 2 at 6:00 AM
- One 12-hour shift during assignment
- Weekend call from Saturday 7:00 AM to Sunday 7:00 AM
- Average 5 phone consults, 5 patients seen, and 2 admissions while on call
- Average 2 admissions per shift when not on call
