Location: Southeast IA
Facility: 875-bed Hospital
Coverage Dates: ASAP-Sporadic
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage; 7a 7a
Practice Details: 24 Hours, Call Schedule: 7Am to 7Am. 1 Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 3. Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent, Peds, Neonate, Adult, Geriatric
Procedures Required: General Surgical Cases Pediatric, General Surgical Cases Neonatal, Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures, Central Line Insertion,Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Surgery(Thoracic, Abdominal), Laparoscopic Surgery(Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty,Nissen Fundoplication), Additional Procedures for Physicians Trained as Pediatric Surgeons (Atresias - Esophageal, Atresias - Intestinal, Atresias - Biliary, Abdominal Wall Defects - Gastroschisis, Umbilical Defects - Omphalocele, Umbilical Defects - Hernia, Imperforate Anus.
Setting: Inpatient, hospital, Level II Trauma, EMR: AEHR
Must be IA licensed, BLS, PALS, Board Certified and Board Eligible Pediatric Surgery
