Children's hospital near Fresno, CA is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Physiatrist. Join a team of 11 physicians. For the 5th year in a row, it is ranked one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals in by U.S. News & World Report.

The Physiatry department (physical medicine and rehabilitation) specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with neurological, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. We work closely
with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurses, neuropsychologists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, clinical dietitians and others to develop a comprehensive care plan for patients. We see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

We are the only independent pediatric hospital in California with an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Pediatric Specialty. Physiatry is an integral component of this expert team of professionals.

  • An interdisciplinary team with specialized training in caring for children that is dedicated to one goal – a safe and successful transition back to home, school/work and community life.
  • Peer Counselor – A paralympic champion who provides support and encouragement.
  • School Reintegration Program – An onsite teacher and the inpatient team work closely with your child’s school to maintain continuity and plan their return after a rehab admission.
  • Circle of Friends Program – A peer counselor attends your child’s first day back to school after a rehab admission to provide support and education for their friends and teachers.
  • Adaptive Sports Program – Free recreational and athletic experiences for children and young adults with physical disabilities.
