St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking an ABR certified or ABR eligible radiologist with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric radiology or oncologic imaging for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging – Body Imaging.
The preferred candidate must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree, be board certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship trained in pediatric radiology or oncologic imaging. A CAQ in pediatric radiology is strongly preferred. Applicants must qualify for medical licensure in the State of Tennessee.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pediatric oncologic imaging and in an academic career. Nuclear medicine skills are a plus. Interpersonal skills, a collaborative nature and clinical acumen are essential. Academic rank will depend on qualifications and experience.
The mission of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging is to provide patients with state-of-the-art imaging. Diagnostic Imaging has had a fundamental role in diagnosing and staging cancer in children as well as assessing treatment response and the side-effects of oncologic therapies acutely and in long-term survivors. Currently, on a limited scale, Diagnostic Imaging provides image-guided interventional procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic.
