DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist for ongoing onsite locum tenens coverage due to scheduling needs. This is an inpatient-only role at a Level I pediatric facility with consistent monthly coverage needs. One week of coverage per month is ideal, with flexibility in block scheduling.
Job Responsibilities
Provide onsite fluoroscopy coverage as needed
Cover assigned inpatient pediatric cases
Participate in teaching and supervision as required
Provide beeper call coverage during assigned call hours
Qualifications
Board Certified in Radiology
Pediatric Radiology Fellowship trained
CAQ certified or CAQ eligible in Pediatric Radiology
Active Michigan license or IMLC eligibility
Clean malpractice history
Case logs required with submission
Working Hours
Mon–Fri: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM onsite
Call: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Sat–Sun: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM onsite
Call: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Thursday–Sunday blocks will be considered
Skills
Fluoroscopy
CT, MRI, ultrasound interpretation
Ability to work in a teaching hospital environment
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
