Coverage & Schedule
- Start Date: February 16, 2026
- Coverage Type: PRN
- Weekday Day Shift:
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (9 hours), in-house
- Reads all pediatric inpatient & ER studies 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Mix: mostly plain films; ~15% US/CT/MR (no nuclear medicine)
- Reads overnight studies + morning film load (~3 continuous hours)
- Afternoon cases intermittent; checks every 30–60 minutes
- On-call for urgent pediatric fluoroscopic procedures (non-interventional)
- After 6 PM: responsible for inpatient consults until StatRad takes over at 11 PM
- Typical weekend volume: ~60–80 studies (full weekday-equivalent workload)

- Patient Population: All pediatric cases

- Support Staff: Hospital-based
- Procedures: Pediatric fluoroscopy when onsite
- Trauma / Code Stroke: Not routinely covered (rare; ~1/day)
