- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and PEDs level 1 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. Seeking on-site coverage for Pediatric Radiology, including weekday and weekend shifts with variable call responsibilities. Weekday shifts are from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, followed by beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m., with an average of 60–100 cases per shift, approximately 60% X-ray, 20% ultrasound, 15% CT, and 5% MRI, including 1–2 fluoroscopy cases per week such as UGI or intussusception reductions. Weekend shifts are from noon to 8:00 p.m., followed by beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m., with an average of 80–120 cases per shift, similarly distributed across modalities and including STAT fluoroscopy cases. On-site coverage is responsible for reading X-ray, ultrasound, STAT CT, and fluoroscopy cases, as well as MRI cases when time permits, with residents paging the on-call radiologist for trauma CT head and CT C-spine, STAT MRI for stroke or cord compression, MRI requests, UGI for bilious emesis, intussusception, liver or renal transplant immediate post-op ultrasound, and missing surgical instruments.

Job Responsibilities
* Read STAT cases and respond promptly to urgent imaging requests
* Cover weekday shifts from 4:00 p.m. to midnight with beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m.
* Cover weekend shifts from noon to 8:00 p.m. with beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m.
* Collaborate with residents and respond to pages for trauma CT, STAT MRI, UGI for bilious emesis, intussusception reductions, transplant ultrasounds, and other urgent imaging needs
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all imaging interpretations
Qualifications
* Experience in reading X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy cases
* Ability to handle high-volume, urgent, and complex pediatric imaging cases
* Strong knowledge of pediatric imaging protocols and safety
* Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Working Hours
* Weekend shifts: noon to 8:00 p.m., followed by beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m.
* Coverage includes reading cases and responding to urgent imaging pages as needed
