Children's Hospital New Orleans, in partnership with LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine and Tulane University School of Medicine, is seeking an additional pediatric radiologist to join a fantastic imaging program that is in need of faculty support for growth. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing academic children's hospital. Children's Hospital New Orleans (CHNO) has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, attracting leaders and top academic pediatric specialists from across the country. We have recently completed a national search for a tremendous leader as Chief of Radiology and are excited about the future of this program. We'd love for you to be part of this great new culture centered around fun and collaboration.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Academic imaging program that supports much of the state. The hospital recently completed a $300mil renovation which includes a new 17,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art, imaging center to support the growth of specialized pediatric services.
  • Very academically focused program - consistent teaching with 2 residency programs and financial support for new research if there is interest (great mix of cases)
  • We currently have faculty with a subspecialty focus on Neuroradiology, Cardiac, and Interventional Radiology.
  • Looking for faculty who will provide support for general radiology, but can also provide focused time on subspecialty interests. Particular areas of need include MSK, Body, and Fetal imaging.
  • CHNO has a partnership and arrangement with the imaging program at Cleveland Clinic which provides remote monitoring support daily starting at 3pm. This provides a great opportunity for more devoted academic time and quality of life
