Position Overview:

The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for the division while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This position will oversee daily clinical, operational, and administrative activities, including provider staffing, program development, and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, program expansion, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the pediatric pulmonology department

• Oversee clinical operations, physician staffing, and team management

• Develop and implement policies and protocols to enhance patient care

• Lead program growth initiatives, including expanding clinical services and outreach programs

• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and clinical staff

• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives

• Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to drive innovation and efficiency

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology

• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in pediatric pulmonology

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a hospital or academic setting

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship

• Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state

• Demonstrated ability to drive department growth, innovation, and quality improvements
