Help Grow our Pediatric Service Line – Physician: Pediatric Pulmonology


The Department of Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Pittsburgh Physicians, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania are now recruiting a Pediatric Pulmonologist to expand clinical services in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.


The candidate must have completed Pediatric Fellowship training and be Board Certified/Eligible in pediatric pulmonology.


UPMC Children’s Harrisburg is a newly remodeled floor at UPMC Harrisburg hospital, housing an 11-bed PICU and General Pediatric unit. UPMC Harrisburg hospital also has a newly- built Women’s and Babies Center and level 3 NICU.


We have 18 pediatric subspecialties serving patients in 9 counties. Subspecialties include Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Hematology, Nephrology, Allergy, Nutrition, Neurosurgery, Transplant, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, Neonatology.


The pediatric pulmonology division in UPMC Central PA is a direct extension of Pediatric Pulmonology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The local teams works directly under the mentorship of the chief and clinical director of Pediatric Pulmonology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Thanks to this direct connection, the local Harrisburg team provides the same world class care, integrating clinical research and best practices in real time, with the Pittsburgh division colleagues.
