Job description
A growing outpatient orthopedic practice is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions in an office-based setting.
This role focuses heavily on evidence-based, patient-centered non-operative orthopedic care while utilizing advanced diagnostic technologies such as fluoroscopy and diagnostic ultrasound. Physicians will perform office-based procedures and collaborate with rehabilitation professionals to support functional recovery and long-term musculoskeletal health.
The position offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinical environment with access to advanced imaging modalities and procedural tools to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive orthopedic examinations
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies
• Utilize diagnostic ultrasound when clinically appropriate
• Develop individualized non-surgical treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage pain treatment protocols
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Perform office-based procedures under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance
• Conduct image-guided injections and interventional treatments
• Perform extracorporeal shockwave therapy for appropriate conditions
• Coordinate rehabilitation services including physical therapy and chiropractic care
• Refer patients for surgical or subspecialty evaluation when appropriate
• Provide patient education on recovery, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal health
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active or eligible medical license in the practicing state
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Demonstrated expertise in musculoskeletal diagnosis and non-operative orthopedic care
