JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Pediatrics Orthopedics Physician

• Service Setting: Hospital and Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: 05/05/2025 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Full clinic days: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM; Half days: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; 1 week/month
• On-Call Shift Schedule: 24/7 during scheduled week (including weekends)
• Call Type: 30-minute response
• Call Ratio: 1 week per month
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Full complement of pediatric orthopedic procedures, including trauma
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Illinois license required
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Orthopedics
• DEA: Active DEA Certification required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Other Qualifications: Pediatric orthopedic fellowship training
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24/7 call coverage for one week per month
• Perform surgical procedures in the OR
• Conduct clinic consultations and patient care during weekdays
• Manage pediatric orthopedic cases including trauma
• Collaborate with physician assistant for weekday OR and clinical support
