We are seeking a Pediatric Nephrology Physician to join our team in Washington and provide exceptional care to our young patients during a 6-month assignment.
Requirements:
- Board-certified in Pediatric Nephrology
- BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive nephrological care to children
- Conduct outpatient clinic appointments, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric conditions
- Round on patients in the hospital, ensuring continuity of care
- On-call duties:
- Participate in the on-call rotation, including night call on clinic days and 24-hour call on non-clinic days
Schedule:
- Three 8-hour shifts per week
- Flexible scheduling within standard clinic hours
- On-call responsibilities include night call on clinic days and 24/7 call on non-clinic days
Practice Setting & Procedures:
- Patient volume of approximately 10 patients per day
- Inpatient rounding averages 2-3 patients per week
- The primary focus is on pediatric nephrology cases
