Connect Health is currently seeking coverage in Eureka, CA with the following requirements during the dates listed below. Candidate CVs must include month and date for each work experience entry, with no gaps in employment.

START DATE: ASAP - Ongoing

JOB INFORMATION

  • Schedule: 2 weeks per month
  • Work Schedule: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
  • Practice Settings: 70% inpatient 30% outpatient

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Certified
  • Active DEA registration is required before the start date.
  • The credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days to complete.

MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT OF:

  • Bartter's Syndrome- preferred
  • Fabry Disease- preferred
  • Fanconi Syndrome- preferred
  • Hemolytic- uremic Syndrome- preferred
  • Hepatorenal Syndrome- Preferred
  • Renal Transplant- Preferred

PROCEDURES:
  • Hemodialysis- Required
  • Percutaneous Renal Biopsy- preferred
  • Peritoneal Dialysis, acute/chronic-preferred
  • Needle biopsy of the kidney- preferred.
The provider is expected to make themselves available for calls during evenings and weekends, beginning on Monday at 7 am and concluding at the same time the following Monday. During the on-call week, the provider must see to a minimum of five outpatients each day at the clinic and be available for inpatient rounds/consults. The outpatient clinic operates between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Typically, the provider covers 70% of inpatients and 30% of outpatients, but this may vary.
