Pediatric Intensivist Opportunity in Michigan

seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Intensivist to join our collaborative and mission-driven team in Michigan. This hospital-employed position offers a rewarding clinical role within a well-established pediatric program, featuring academic involvement and a flexible schedule.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Join a cohesive team of Pediatric Intensivists supporting a 10-bed PICU at Children’s Hospital.
  • Work approximately 14 twelve-hour shifts per month, with flexible scheduling based on physician input and team collaboration.
  • Responsibilities include PICU consults, admissions, procedures, and the management of critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Subspecialty support includes Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Supportive medical leadership and a hospital culture committed to quality, safety, and family-centered care.
  • Academic affiliation with Central Michigan University College of Medicine, including opportunities to teach medical students and pediatric residents.
  • Faculty appointment through CMU, with expectations for participation in clinical education.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Interest in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents
