A permanent, full-time opportunity for a BC/BE Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to provide critical care services in a state-of-the-art 14-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The role involves caring for pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions, supporting surgical and catheterization programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary care setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage care for over 400 pediatric cardiac surgical cases annually.
• Collaborate with ECMO, catheterization, and transport teams.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring residents through academic affiliations.
• Support procedural sedation and contribute to pediatric ICU and emergency care.
Qualifications
• Nevada medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• DEA and CSR/CDS certification (required before start).
• Clean malpractice and licensure history preferred.
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Las Vegas area.
Working Hours
• Includes weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities.
Skills
