You are invited to join a well-established health system that is in need of (1) more PED/ID physician in the great state of Arizona. Please review the information below and respond with your interest.

The Practice:
  • Hospital: Licensed 641 Beds - Non-for-profit Regional Hospital
  • Treats about 30,000 Inpatients
  • 6,000 births which is the second largest in the state.
  • We have an average 31,000 visits in the ED which is a Level II Trauma Center
  • We have a 42-Bed NICU, 12-Bed PICU which are all Level III plus a 44-Bed PED Unit
  • We don’t handle any heads or hearts - Shipped
  • Schedule: we are wanting you to cover 9 x 4-hourr blocks per week - 4.5-day work week
    • Blocks: 8:00a - 12:00p / 1:00p - 4:00p
    • Clinic: 8:00a - 12:00p - see 8-12 patients
    • Hosp: 1:00 - 4:00p - see 2-6 patients
  • Average patient panel: 1,800 to 2,400
  • Number physicians referring - all of Southern AZ PCPs
  • EHR: Epic
  • Equally shared call
  • We are H1B cap exempt organization
The Financials:
  • GREAT Base Salary: Employed - ($220k - $240k) annually based on experience
  • Production: Quality - 10% of salary - ($22k - $24k)
  • Sign-On Bonus: $25k - See if you qualify
  • Loan forgiveness: $40k
  • Relocation: Up to $10k
  • PTO: 30 days PTO + 5 CME = 35 Days Total
  • CME: $3,500k + (5 days) + licensure, DEA, Med staff, subscriptions PAID
  • Full Benefits package: Life, Health, Dental, Vision, 401K match 6%
  • Contract: Employed - 1 or 2 years
  • Malpractice: Hospital is Self-insured - PAID + your Tail is covered
