JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Service Setting: Inpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: March 16, 2026 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Inpatient consult call, TBD
• Call Type: Beeper
COVERAGE DATES
• Ongoing coverage beginning March 16, 2026
• Minimum commitment of one week per month

• Patient Demographics: Pediatrics
• Admissions: Consult service
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Complex infections, immunocompromised patients, transplant-related infections
FACILITY INFORMATION
• Trauma Level: Level I
• Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty pediatric services
• Support Staff Available: Nursing and ancillary clinical staff
• Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain via IMLC
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• Experience: Fellowship-trained pediatric infectious disease physician
• Other Qualifications: Academic hospital experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide pediatric infectious disease inpatient consultations
• Manage complex infectious diseases in immunocompromised and transplant patients
• Participate in antibiotic stewardship initiatives
• Collaborate with infection prevention teams
• Engage in teaching and case review within an academic children’s hospital
