Opportunity Overview

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Pediatric Infectious Disease physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage within its nationally recognized academic children’s hospital. This is a high-acuity, intellectually engaging consult service with opportunities for teaching and collaboration in a premier academic environment.

Coverage Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Coverage Need: Ongoing; minimum 1 week per month

• Call: TBD (inpatient consult call may be required)

• Setting:

  • Primarily inpatient consult service

  • Possible outpatient follow-up clinic

Clinical Responsibilities

• Pediatric infectious disease consultations

• Management of complex infections, including immunocompromised and transplant patients

• Participation in antibiotic stewardship initiatives

• Collaboration with infection prevention teams

• Teaching and case review within an academic children’s hospital setting

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease

• Fellowship-trained Pediatric Infectious Disease physician

• Academic mindset with strong consultative skills

Licensure & Compensation

• IMLC accepted – Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand

• Open to IMLC licensure for qualified candidates
