- Hospitalist program consists of 3 Peds and 2 Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
- Part-Time position: six 24 hr shifts per month
- 24 shift breaks down as either:
1. 12 hr on-site day shift followed by 12 hrs off-site second call that night
2. 12 hr on site night shift and 12 hrs off-site second call during the day

- Pediatrician can go off-site after done rounding
- NRP, PALS
- E.D: 2-3 kids per 24 hours (admitting 0-2)
- Kids that come through the ED that are higher acuity than facility sees are transferred (0-2 per 24hr), the pediatrician participates in that process
- Evening ER call: (1-3 per 24 hours)
- Pediatric Floor: Avg census is 2-4 (rounded every 24 hrs)
- Obstetrics: Pediatrician participates in "high risk" births (0-2 per 24hours)
- Pediatrician should expect 3-5 calls per 24 hr
- The avg daily census in the OB is 8-10
- Avg daily census in the 6 bed NICU (non-CCS) is 0.5
- Board Eligible / Certified required
- $1400 per shift
- Opportunity exists to do outpatient as well, if looking for a full-time role
