One of ILR Heath's hospital partners in the US Virgin Islands is looking for a Pediatric physician to cover March 15th - March 30th, 2020, including travel days. Roundtrip airfare, rental car, lodging and temporary US Virgin Island license is provided. Position includes call coverage and treatment of 4 Pediatric beds. Average admits per day is 1-2. More details below. This is a fantastic location and wonderful time to be in the Caribbean! Per Diem opportunities like this do not happen often. Come and enjoy this island culture while helping an underserved population. No passport or visa is required since this is a territory of the US.
An active medical license from any US state is required for the temporary USVI license.

Rate: $800.00 per 24 hours
Pediatric Coverage
Number of Beds: 4 Beds
Schedule/Shift Times: 24 hours
Nursery: 4-6 average
Avg admits/day: 1-2
Avg admits/night: 0-1
ICU Beds: None
Specialist Backup: for minor problem
Midlevel Support: for minor problem

- Doctor will have to cover C-Sections for new borns
- Will be doing 24 hours on call
- NRP certification required
