Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Northwest Ohio - Near Toledo!!
Pediatric Hospitalists are responsible for:
Special Care Nursery (Level IIB)
Management of infants 32 weeks and above; including CPAP, Surfactant, and Ventilator Care
Normal newborn care
Attendance at high risk deliveries
Inpatient pediatric care
Emergency Department consults
Limited Outpatient medical consults
Pediatric Hospitalists work seven to eight 24-hour in-house shifts per month. Average daily census is 12 (with an average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 6 well newborns, and 4 special care patients). Through our affiliation with the Children’s Hospital, we are currently developing a telemedicine service for our Special Care Nursery. Other details of the position include:
•Hospital Employment
•Competitive Salary with Productivity Bonus
•Full Benefits which include Occurrence Based Malpractice and 403(b)
•No call outside of shifts
•200 Hours of Paid Time Off for Vacation and CME (8 – 24 hour days of vacation and 2 – 24 hour days of CME)
•$5K CME Allowance

•Student Loan Repayment or Signing Bonus Negotiable.
