Shift Details
-- 24-hour beeper call, 7am-7am
-- Call response time required: 20 minutes
-- Phone consults: 5
-- Patients seen: 3-8
-- Admissions: 3-8
-- Call back percentage: 50%

Requirements
-- Board certified or eligible
-- Licensed in North Carolina or IMLC
-- BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
-- Ventilation Management Newborn and Pediatric (chronic and acute)
-- Intubation (ETT/NT) - Newborn and Pediatrics
-- Conscious Sedation
-- Central and Arterial Line
-- Chest Tube Insertion
-- X-ray and EKG Interpretation
-- Suturing Minor Lacerations
-- Circumcision

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient
-- Duties include rounding
-- Must attend C-sections but not uncomplicated vaginal deliveries
-- Patients per shift: 2-5
-- Beds in department: 16
-- Approximately 400 deliveries annually
-- PICU is transferred to another location, Lifeflight available on site
-- EMR: Paragon
-- PEDs Level: 1
-- RN support: 3
-- MA support: 1
