A healthcare organization in Potsdam, NY is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician for a locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist assignment. The physician will provide 24-hour call coverage supporting the newborn nursery, high-risk deliveries, pediatric inpatient unit, and emergency department consultations.
This opportunity offers a combination of newborn and pediatric inpatient care, with weekday and weekend coverage required.

Qualifications
Active New York medical license in hand
NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications required
AHA or RQI certifications accepted
Recent Epic experience required
Residents and fellows cannot be accepted
Updated CV/work history required
No unexplained employment gaps of 30+ days
Any malpractice history, including dismissed cases, requires a physician statement/explanation
Working Hours
7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
5–7 shifts per month
Weekday and weekend coverage
Multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts may be available
Provider may remain outside the hospital when there are no acute issues
Must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
Must be able to return to the hospital within 20 minutes when needed
