🏥 Position Overview
The Pediatric Hospitalist will manage the care of hospitalized pediatric patients, overseeing admissions, treatment plans, and discharges while ensuring coordinated care among healthcare teams and specialists.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✨ Provide inpatient medical care for pediatric patients
✨ Manage hospital admissions, treatment plans, and discharge processes
✨ Conduct daily patient rounds and clinical assessments
✨ Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, physicians, and nursing staff
✨ Communicate with families regarding treatment plans and patient progress
✨ Ensure accurate clinical documentation and patient records
✨ Support a team-based approach to pediatric inpatient care
👶 Patient Population
Care will be provided to hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents requiring inpatient medical management and monitoring.
📋 Qualifications
🎓 MD or DO Degree
👶 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
📜 Ohio Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
🏥 Experience in inpatient pediatric care preferred
