Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in California | 24-Hour Call | Specific Dates From May - July | Assignment #114060
Coverage Needed:
-- May 20-23
-- June 25, 27-30
-- July 1-3 (ends at AM of 4th)
Shift Description:
-- 24-Hour Call
Requirements:
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- Must be licensed in California
-- BLS, either NRP or PALS, and DEA
-- Clean malpractice/background
-- Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation (high risk or complex patients transferred to higher level of care)
Assignment Details:
-- Small community hospital - 70 beds
-- Level II nursery
-- Average admissions per day: 3-5 pediatric patients and 3-15 newborn/nursery patients
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Duties include providing care for 0–18-year-old patients, standby/on call for emergency or complicated C-sections, ED call for pediatric patients
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
