Coverage Details
-- Will accept multiple providers
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45 days (temporary privileging available)
Shift Description
-- Call-only coverage
-- Typical schedule: One weekend per month and select holidays
Call Details
-- Beeper call
-- Call response time: 30 minutes
-- Call ratio: 1:1
-- Call back rate: ~5%
-- Phone consults: 2–5
-- Admissions / patients seen: ~5
Requirements
-- Board Eligible or Board Certified
-- Alabama license or IMLC
-- ACLS
-- BLS
-- PALS

-- Non-invasive ventilation management (NeoPuff)
-- Ventilation management
---- Newborn: Acute and chronic
---- Pediatric: Acute and chronic
-- Intubation (ETT / NT)
---- Newborn
---- Pediatrics
-- Conscious sedation
-- Deep sedation
-- Central line placement
-- Arterial lines
-- Umbilical venous catheter (UVC)
-- Umbilical arterial catheter (UAC)
