Job description Step into a well-supported inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist role offering meaningful clinical engagement, a manageable pediatric census, and strong nursing support. This Level III trauma environment features 24-hour shifts with overnight call taken from home, creating the right blend of autonomy and balance. Job Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage
• Manage assigned pediatric admissions and daily rounding
• Average 3–6 pediatric patients per shift
• Respond to approximately 5 ED consults per 24-hour period
• Perform required pediatric procedures and airway management
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs as needed
• Collaborate with RN and PA/NP support staff
• Maintain timely documentation within Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (required)
• Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility
• BLS required
• PALS required
• Ability to meet 60–90 day credentialing timeline (expedited privileges possible with clean history)
• Comfortable in Level III trauma environment

Working Hours

• 24-hour shifts
• Overnight call taken from home
• Up to 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts permitted
• Assignment dates: June 8, 2026 – August 31, 2026
• Scheduled clinical hours only
• 1 provider needed
