- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days. Clean history can qualify for expedited privileges
- License: An active Washington state license or IMLC membership is required

- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Other details: The facility which is Trauma level 3 and PEDs level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. This is a Level 3 trauma center with 238 licensed beds, including 17 in the Pediatric Unit, which is also used for adult Med/Surg patients. The Pediatric Hospitalist typically cares for 3-6 pediatric patients per shift, with each shift being 24 hours long, including overnight call from home. In addition to the pediatric cases, the Pediatric Hospitalist handles an average of 5 ED consults per shift, 3 during the day and 2 at night. Locum Pediatric Hospitalists can schedule up to 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities
* Handle 5 ED consults per shift, including 3 during the day and 2 at night.
* Manage pediatric and adult Med/Surg patients in the Pediatric Unit as needed.
* Take overnight call from home.
* Ensure continuity of care for pediatric patients in collaboration with the medical team.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center.
* Ability to manage both pediatric and adult Med/Surg cases in a mixed unit.
* Strong clinical skills in pediatric care and emergency consultations.
Working Hours
* Ability to schedule up to 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts.
Skills
* Strong communication skills for collaborating with medical teams and consulting in the ED.
* Ability to work independently while on call.
* Time management skills to balance patient care, consults, and call responsibilities effectively.
