Job description LOCUM PEDIATRIC HOSPITALIST – FORT MORGAN, COLORADO IMLC Accepted | Call Coverage | Feb–Jun 2026 ASSIGNMENT & SCHEDULE
  • Coverage Type: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • Coverage Period: Feb 2026 – Jun 2026 (4 weeks/month, ongoing dates TBD)
  • Confirmed Shifts:
  • Feb 9, 17–18, 23–24
  • Mar 2, 24–25, 30–Apr 1
  • Apr 6, 27–29
  • May 4–6, 25
  • Jun 15, 29–30
Ongoing Dates: July–Dec 2026 (schedule TBD) PRACTICE SETTING & DUTIES
  • Setting: Call / Inpatient Pediatrics
  • Level 1 Nursery (no pediatric ICU coverage)
  • Procedures / Skills Required:
  • Newborn and pediatric inpatient care
  • Circumcision
  • Neonatal resuscitation
  • Treatment of respiratory and infectious diseases in young patients
Required to attend all C-sections; attend some deliveries Patient Volume: 250 deliveries/year at SEH 40–50 pediatric admissions/year EMR System: EPIC LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission)
  • BLS – Highly preferred (required for credentialing)
  • DEA – Highly preferred (must maintain DEA for entire assignment)
CREDENTIALING & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
  • Completion of EMR pre-app & full application to generate AD account
  • Complete EMR Modules prior to virtual EMR training
  • Complete Virtual EMR Training at least 1 week before first day
  • Candidate must acknowledge understanding of EMR training sequence
  • Candidate must participate in CO Medicaid to prescribe patients (?80% of patient panel)
ADDITIONAL NOTES
  • Rebid provider due to previous assignment gap
  • Pediatric floor only; ICU cases limited to older adolescents >50kg if provider is comfortable
  • 95–99% of duties focus on neonatal and pediatric floor care
