A hospital in Longmont, Colorado is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for short-term locum tenens coverage. This is an inpatient-only role with newborn care responsibilities and offsite call coverage in a low-volume setting. Expedited credentialing is available.

Coverage Dates January 7–12

Schedule 24-hour call shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.) Offsite call coverage with a required response time of 30 minutes or less

Practice Setting Inpatient pediatrics Level I Nursery Newborn care and delivery coverage Approximately 30 deliveries per month

Patient Volume 8 inpatient beds Average census: 1.5 patients per day Approximately 30 patients per month

Support Staff Registered nurses Lab technicians X-ray technicians

Required Procedures Circumcision PALS

EMR and Training Requirements EMR: Epic Credentialing pre-application and full application must be completed to begin EMR account setup Active Directory account setup may take up to 5 days EMR modules must be completed prior to virtual EMR training Virtual EMR training must be completed at least one week prior to the first day First-day details will be released only after all EMR training requirements are completed

Requirements Board Certified in Pediatrics – Required Active Colorado license or IMLC – Required Active PALS – Required Active DEA – Highly Preferred
