- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and PEDs level 1 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 2-5 patients per shift and 16 beds in the department.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate care for pediatric inpatients as needed during call coverage
* Respond promptly to consults, admissions, and urgent pediatric care needs
* Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality pediatric care
* Document patient encounters accurately using the Paragon EMR
* Adhere to established clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and patient safety standards
Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Hospital Medicine
* Active North Carolina state medical license or IMLC membership
* Eligible to complete credentialing within a 60–90 day timeframe
Working Hours
* Coverage starting January 14, 2026, and ongoing
* Average patient volume of 2–5 patients per shift
* Pediatric department with 16 inpatient beds
Skills
* Ability to manage variable patient volumes during call coverage
* Proficiency with Paragon EMR
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Comfortable working in a stroke-certified, PEDs level 1 environment
