• Shift Schedule: Mornings & evenings
- AM: 8a-7p or 10a-8p
- PM: 5p-10a or 9p-10a
- Required at least 7 shifts per month (2 of which are nights)
• Patient Demographics: 0-21 yrs old
• Patient Volume: 15-18
• Admissions Required: Yes
• Rounding Included: Yes
• Support Staff: Strong wrap around sub-specialties (30+) that are available for consult support.
• Required Procedures:
- IP pediatric procedures: With PICU
- Non-invasive vent mgmt (bipap/cpap)
- Ventilation mgmt (ped): acute & chronic
- Ped Intubation (ENT/INT), Conscious & Deep Sedation & Central Line Placement.
• Beds in Dept: 66
• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Epic
• Resident/Teaching Supervision Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges available: Yes
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active WA License (preferred)
• BC (Peds; Peds Hospital Med preferred)
• BLS (Red Cross or AHA)
• Clean record
