Job Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient pediatric care and emergency consults.
  • Conduct rounds on pediatric wards and newborns in the Family Birth Center.
  • Stabilize and transfer critical patients.
  • Coordinate care with the neonatal team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active Oregon medical license
  • Proficiency in procedures such as lumbar puncture, intubations, umbilical lines, and neonatal resuscitation
  • DEA certification
  • A clean malpractice background is highly preferred

Working Hours

  • On-call schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
  • Average in-house clinical care time: 5-6 hours daily, with flexibility for additional teaching roles
