Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in Colorado | 24-Hour Call | January 1–6 | Ongoing | Assignment #112743
Coverage Details:
-- January 1 – January 5
-- Ongoing dates will be released June–December
Shift Description:
-- 24-hour call shifts (7 AM – 7 AM)
-- Average callback: 1.2 hours
Requirements:
-- Board Certified Pediatrics
-- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC
-- Active BLS
-- Active DEA (site will consider transferred DEA; must keep for entire assignment)
-- Clean malpractice/background
-- Must participate in CO Medicaid (80% patient base)
-- Required procedures: Newborn care, inpatient pediatrics, circumcision, neonatal resuscitation, respiratory/infectious disease treatment
Assignment Details:
-- Setting: Call, Inpatient
-- Attend all C-sections in OR gear
-- Some deliveries required
-- Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP – emergency/temps possible
-- Approximately 250 deliveries/year; 40–50 pediatric admissions/year
-- Level 1 Nursery
-- No pediatric ICU (ICU reopened for older adolescents >50kg; provider may opt out)
-- EMR: EPIC
