Job description Locums – Fort Morgan, Colorado | Pediatrics Hospitalist IMLC Accepted | 24-Hour Call Quick Screening Summary Availability
  • Jan 1–6: 24-hour call (7a–7a)
  • Additional ongoing dates (June–Dec) will be released as schedules are finalized
  • Must be available for any open dates to be considered for ongoing work
  • All shifts end 7a the following day
Licenses
  • Active CO License – REQUIRED
  • OR Active IMLC with LOQ in hand – REQUIRED
Certifications
  • Board Certified Pediatrics – REQUIRED
  • BLS – Highly Preferred / Required for credentialing
  • DEA – Highly Preferred / Required for credentialing
    • Site will accept a transferred DEA but provider must keep it active for entire assignment
Additional Required Commitments
  • Must complete all EMR training steps in required order
  • Must confirm understanding of onboarding requirements
  • Must participate in CO Medicaid to prescribe
Clinical Work Details Setting
  • 24-hour call (inpatient + newborn)
  • Level 1 Nursery
  • No Pediatric ICU (rare adolescent ICU cases; may opt out)
Duties / Required Skills
  • Newborn care
  • Inpatient pediatrics
  • Circumcisions
  • Neonatal resuscitation
  • Respiratory & infectious disease management (majority of workload)
  • Attend all C-sections (OR gear required)
  • Attend select deliveries
Typical Volumes
  • 250 deliveries/year
  • 40–50 pediatric admissions/year (via ED + direct admits)
Support Staff
  • None (solo coverage)

  • EPIC
