Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physician to join our team in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role. The physician will provide care in both our pediatric clinic and inpatient pediatric service, and participate in scheduled call coverage. This role offers the variety of clinic-based continuity care, along with hospital-based acute pediatric medicine, in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
-Manage a panel of pediatric patients as part of a pediatric primary care team.
-Coordinate care with community pediatric specialists and subspecialists; refer as needed.
-Admit, round, and manage pediatric inpatients including newborns, children, and adolescents.
-Evaluate and consult on pediatric cases from the Emergency Department (ED) and on hospital floors.
-Provide care for well newborns in the nursery, and manage pediatric admissions, discharges, and transitions.
Qualifications
-Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics.
-Valid, unrestricted ArizonaMichigan medical license required (must be obtained prior to clinical start).
Working Hours
Coverage schedule would include a combination of:
-Clinic Only
-Clinic + Call
-Call Only on weekends
