We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist to provide call-only coverage for our inpatient pediatric service. The physician will be responsible for providing clinical decision support, admission decisions, and medical oversight during on-call shifts. This role does not involve regular in-house rounding, but may require onsite call-backs for admissions or urgent patient care.
Job Responsibilities
-Assess and admit patients to the inpatient pediatric unit as needed
-Provide on-call consultation for emergency department pediatric cases, when required
Qualifications
-Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
-Valid, unrestricted Michigan medical license required (must have at time of hire) — this is non-negotiable for clinical privileges
