Locum Pediatric Coverage – Roseburg, OR
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician for locum coverage providing 24-hour pediatric and neonatal call. This role includes inpatient pediatrics, ED consults, and Level I/II nursery care.
Schedule & Coverage:
- 24-hour call (7 AM–7 AM) with ~5–6 hours/day in-house clinical care
- Minimal call back; emergencies responded to within 15 minutes
- Orientation included
Clinical Duties:
- Attend pediatric and newborn patients, round in nursery
- Stabilize and transfer critical patients
- Perform essential procedures: lumbar puncture, intubations, umbilical lines, neonatal resuscitation, IVIG administration
Compensation: Competitive rates with daily/holiday call and call-back pay
Requirements:
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatrician
- OR License & DEA
- Clean malpractice background preferred
- Local candidates preferred
