Job description
We are seeking board-certified Pediatricians to join our team at OhioHealth on a per diem basis.
This position focuses on Newborn Nursery coverage with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists no pediatric floor coverage required.
Position Highlights:
Provide expert care in the newborn nursery with NICU support
Perform pediatric consultations for the emergency department
Conduct circumcisions (circs) as needed
Collaborate closely with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide comprehensive care
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research
Engage in knowledge exchange with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs
Schedule: 24-hour shift of rounding plus offsite call
Requirements:
Board Certified in Pediatrics
OH license or active IMLC compact eligible
Minimum of 1-year post-residency experience
Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months
