Job Responsibilities

• Manage neonatal airway including intubation and neonatal air leaks
• Perform emergent UVC placement and EKG interpretation
• Handle needle decompression for pneumothorax
• Engage in tasks like lumbar punctures, ventilator management (preferred), and central line placement

Qualifications

• Active CA license and board certification eligibility within 3-5 years of residency
• 2 years of current pediatric hospital clinical activity required
• NRP and PALS certification required

Working Hours

• 24-hour call, with no in-house requirement
• Potential start earlier than February if expedited privileging occurs

Skills

• Required: Intubation (newborn and pediatrics), needle decompression, UVC placement, EKG interpretation
• Preferred: Chronic and acute ventilation management, chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture
