Position: Pediatric Hospitalist – Locum
Location: Tiffin, OH
Status: Open
Coverage Needed: October 3, 5, 6, 2025 (with ongoing future needs)
Shift: 24-Hour Call (8 AM – 8 AM)
Response Time: Within 30 minutes

Job Responsibilities
🔹 Patient Load
90% Newborns
5% Pediatrics
5% Adolescents
Avg Daily Census: 3–4 newborns
Avg Daily Census: ~1 peds patient every 2 months
Medical students may observe newborn rounds.
Emergency temporary privileges possible with a clean record and active OH license/DEA
Lodging reimbursement: ~$150/night
Standard/economy travel reimbursed
Qualifications
Ohio State License – Required
Ohio DEA – Required
BLS & NRP Certification – Required
Newborn Experience – Required
X-ray Interpretation & Circumcision Skills – Required
UVC/UAC Experience – Highly Preferred
Must live within 30 minutes of hospital or be willing to stay nearby
